I have been reading the forum for 5 months now. I took ya'lls advice and bought a V10 EX to pull the travel trailer. We went for Chicago to Tennessee 590 miles each way. WOW was that fun ! I love that V10.

Waltersboys, Good on you brother. I never met a V10 guy I did not like.
Your big EX is the finest vehicle in it's class and you have the finest gas engine ever made. Long Live Ford.
Hello all, I am new to this site and this is my first post. I just bought a 1999 F-250 Superduty crew cab long box with the V10 and 54300 miles on it for $14900. It looks like it has been very well maintained and runs and drives great. I bought it to tow my 28' Desert Fox toy hauler that weighs about 12000 fully loaded. I am hoping this truck will pull it much better then the GMC I had with the 6 liter V8 did. The GMC spent a lot of time in second gear and only got about 6 mpg. After reading many posts in here it sounds like I should have bought a newer truck but I felt like I was getting a great deal on this one. Do you think the 2v V10 will do the job for me? I don't know what gears it has but it does have an automatic trans.
