Air Leak
I have searched the site to find out if someone else has had this setback? I have a 99 Supercab XLT 5 spd 4x4 that I never noticed but my wife did when she drove it on a cold day on the highway that there was a draft in the vehicle. I went out and drove and noticed it too that around the signal light, wiper control and the tilt wheel there is a draft comes up thru the steering column. I was wondering if there was a fix or did something get left out.

Might look around the steering column where it passes through the firewall. Down there all kinds of things pass through, brake, clutch, steering shaft, miscellaneous electrical connections. Some random grommet coulda just popped out of place and allowed air to pass through from the engine compartment.
