soft towl and a water/alcohol mix. Tiny amount on the rubbing alcohol. Windex does wonders. I would recommend not actually spraying the screen. Get the towel damp, and wipe softly.

I don't clean my laptop screen.

The LCD screen is shut off; I'm running my monitor off of the laptop; along with an external keyboard and mouse.

I usually use the dusting rag that I bought from the computer store for LCD screens. When the screen gets really dirty, I just use a damp towl and wipe it off. I wouldn't want to use a lot of chemicals on the screen.

You can also use an SOS pad with bleach.

Nice start, bad finish. Start with a good cleaner/dusting agent....Then just use a mild ajent and just wipe and clear the screen...After that find a good "wipe" or clensor....From here, trust your agent and drive on. Beyond that, follow the sites and work what you have.

Time to break out the rubbing compound..... if the scratches are deep you might need to wet sand.....
