Warn manual hub Install

Does anyone have install guidelines for installing Warn Premium manual hubs on a 99SD? Having trouble removing factory hubs.

my esof hubs abolutely refused to come out, i had to shatter them with a drilling hammer and split the pieces with a cold chisel, then pull the chunks out with pliers and picks. just make sure to dont bent the hub itself, but wail away on it, your not gonna hurt anything by beating on it

Mine took twenty minutes to install, only because I had to rap them with a mallet to loosen them up a touch.

Thanks for the info. Having not done this before is there any grease I need to lube the new hubs before I install them?

I would lightly grease the moving parts of the hub and any areas that show any corrosion inside the hub cavity. You definitely do not want to pack the new hub full of grease, lest the grease keep the hub spline from moving freely in and out as you engage and disengage the hub. I'd use ordinary axle grease.

I would think the new hub would be pre-greased, so you might check with Warn before you add significant amounts of grease to the hub internals.
