Cruise control and chime issues
Bought a 96 F150 4x4 recently and the cruise and chimes don't work. While the chimes are not a favorite, the truck is for my daughter and I don't want her to forget and leave the lights on. I suspect that someone has unplugged or removed the module, but I can't find where it is located to check it. Anyone know?
Also, the cruise control isn't working, what are some things to check? I've already checked the fuses.

does seatbelt chime work?
if you have an xl than you probably do not have light chime.
it is a blue box under dash near the center.
on cruise, you need the new switch and it may be disconnected at master cyl. for safety pupose.
make sure it has the switch that does not cause fires before she drives it.
