high miles????
Hello all,
I have an 04 FX4 Supercab. I travel a lot, and so far I have almost 40,000 miles on it....I have kept up on all maintenance (oil changes, tranny flush, fuel filter change, air filter change, etc etc)....no issues yet. Brakes are about 1/2 way worn down, tires still have decent tread on them, no leaks/drips/creaks/clunks...lol.
Anyone have more miles, any issues?????

Seriously, when I was a kid like 18-19 (20 yrs ago) I had a 72 Ford 3/4 ton 4x4 with a 360 v8 and 127,000 miles and it still ran great. This was the old kind with the gas tank behind the seat of all places.
40,000 is nothing on todays 150!

I've got an 05 screw 4x4 with 35,000 miles. Purchased it January 11, 2005. The way things are going I may have 70,000 within a year. I agree, if you keep the maintenance up per the schedule, they will last a good long while. Before this one, I had a '98 with 145,000 and no problems.
