7.3L Problem

I have a 2001 X 7.3L w/ 55,000 miles. The past couple days I have been driving down the road and it will have a couple episodes where the engine would abruptly shutter and drop off just for a split second, similar to a foot slipping of the accelator, and then would continue down the road like nothing ever happened. Any ideas?

Do a search for CPS. That may be your problem.
