After several weeks of looking fo a cheap solution to my HCU problem I ran across this on ebay. Auction number 8052810640. Would this HCU work in my 96 Bronco, 5.8? $150 is a lot better than $450 from the dealer. The ABS test gives code 63 which is the fluid pump return motor is not working. I have checked all of the terminals and they are all clean. I think I have a dead spot in my motor. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
That one fits a Linc. The bronco one is obsolete. $1400.00 LIST PRICE YIKES
there is only one place that shows to have the part you need and that is in Texas.

I pulled a motor off a crown vic, the unit it self was differant but the motor was the same. Cost me 20 bucks. OH and the wire conector was differant as well but I just drafted the one from the nfg motor on to the crown and it works great. That was 4 years ago. no problems yet.

yes, thats what I'm saying. And it doens't require removing the HCU from the truck. Easy as hell to do.
thats the best news i've heard in years. can you give me a quick walk threw? all the shop manual said was " service as whole unit" any info would be a great help.
Been a few years, but its only 2 screws that hold it in. And best part is it doesn't open the system so you won't loose fluid and won't need to bleed it. Now all you need to do is go to the bone yard and find one.
Kick A##. That is the answer I was looking for. I am going to pull the motor and see if I can get it rebuilt or hit the boneyards around and start the search.
