It is a little strange, I to belong to other forums and have not had half as good response from them as I get here. Why is that I wonder, are we some sort of special breed or something it is all very strange, I can't quite put my finger on the answer. But I do know your all a very helpfull bunch of people.
love those old early '60s Chevvy PU's, real classics....beautiful rig in med metallic powder blue, burnt orange or black
best V8 engine ever made in America, Chebby small block
nothing like the sound of a built SB Chebby exhaust racking off
You said it 96', I planned on painting my truck (two tone, white top) orange with the white top. I have 2 1/2" exhaust with purple horny glass packs sticking out of the rear of the cab. Sounded nice until the valve burned. Can't wait to fix it.
I hope I can put in the general discussion about how to work on different things. Also.....I was reminded by my father in law that he already did the cold chisel to the hub thing. Whats next??? weld material in and lathe it? Heck I plan on putting front disk brakes on, just what company to pick to spend the almost $1,000 dollars on (give or take), the front end is shot and jiggles but heck, it's paid for and it's mine and the little woman is helping me pick stuff out for it. How cool is that?
