Ok. Got a question for you guys. We need to put up a fence here at the house. We're gonna use a 4' chain link. Has anyone ever put one up??
How difficult will it be? It's going to be about 300' of fencing. Should we try to do it ourselves, or would it be worth the money to have someone do it for us? We priced the material at home depot and just for materials alone it's gonna run around $900.00. But we also have about $200.00 in gift cards and a 20% off coupon so that will help a lot. What would you do?
Thanks in advance!
Heck, we have moles for that. We are going to have three gates, two walk gates and one drive gate. I would think that the hardest part would be getting the posts straight. We are going to get all the stuff this month and then maybe have a "fence puttin up party" shortly there after. We will post the date and anyone that wants to come by will be treated to pizza and soda (or some other form of liquid refreshment.)
Tony, you will need the fast cement if you plan to set posts and hang fence at the same time. I wold be up for helping provided there is a place to stay close by so that the job gets finished. I have also learned how to splice the fencing too!!!! I hate that part!!!!!

Well, the fence is all here. What does everyone have planned on saturday the 15th? I know it is the day before easter and all, but I figure better sooner than later. We have a friend that has a power auger to dig the holes and he said that we can use it whenever we need to.
