Its the connector for the trailer light relay AND trailer brake control. The BROWN wire is the power feed from the main light switch to the trailer light relay and the small BLACK wire is the ground for the same relay. The large YELLOW wire feeds the power for the lights on the trailer itself. The large RED wire feeds the trailer brake control circuit. So unless you plan on towing a trailer, no need to woory about it.
And let me tell you... the wiring diagrams don't make tracing those particular wires a simple task. I have NEVER spent that much time pouring over a schematic. Ahh, well, all in the name of a little more knowledge. Thanks guys! That was fun!
No thank you, nothing speaks so highly of the Bronco community then to see perfect strangers willing to help one another out. Thanks, that would probably explain why I can't find my trailer light wiring at the back of the bronco. No worries though, I don't really plan on towing with my truck.
