Wheel Lug Nut Size

Ok, so I bought a front bearing hub for my 2001 F250 SD 7.3 4x4 from a person on ebay. It was brand new in the ford box at a terrific price that I could not pass up. He told me that the lug thread may be different. So that is the problem I need new lug nuts and don't know what size to get. The thread looks finer then the original. Everything on the hub is the same but that. The part # on the new hub is 3C3Z-1104-BA.

Also I need a new fiber washer that goes in between two metal washers on the outside of the bearing hub. Is this a factory only part and what is it called.

On the thread size, just measure the lug diameter, use a wrench if you don't have some calipers. It is probably 9/16" .. Carefully count the threads in one inch.. I would guess it is 9/16 X 18.. if you say it is a finer thread.. (12 would be course)

They are metric - they changed from 14 - 1.5 thread pitch, to 14 - 2.0 thread (some time in late 2002 I think) - if your new one looks finer I'd say that's what it is.
