Duraspark ? problem

hey ,i gots a problem with my system i have,i have all the wires correct,my module works, i replaced the cap rotor and coil,and spark plug wires,i get spark evey where i need it,but the engine wont start, fuel is getting to the cylinders but no fire,well,a few back fires but no running engine,please help! thx

Make sure your firing order is correct and that the distributor is getting a good ground. If it backfire while you are turning the distributor, the ground would be the first thing I would suspect. On my 84 when I converted to DSII, I had to run a wire from the ground lead on the module to the negative post on the battery to make it work right.

my fireing order is corect,but where is the ground for the dist. and how would u dout the ground cable corectly? theses are dumb questions i know,but im young and like to learn the right way,not the fast way,lol,thx
