460 van motor to 78 f250 4x4

I have a 460 motor out of a van. When I am done rebuilding it I want to put it into my 78 F250 4x4. The oil pan is a rear sump. Will it fit into my 4x4 or do I need a specific pan for this swap.
Thanks in advance
Greg

Engines in pickups and vans use rear sumps to clear the front axle assembly, just look at the oil pan on the engine in your truck. You will need new motor mounts, accessory brackets, exhaust, etc. but it will fit. Good luck.
