Question Skyjacker VS. Rough Country

I am going to buy a 4 inch lift for my 79 f250 4x4. I am trying to decide between the rough country and the Skyjacker kits. I can buy a complete system (with rear springs) from RC for the same money as a Skyjacker kit(with rear blocks). I have heard mostly good things about the skyjacker kits. I don't know much about the RC kits. Can anybody help me make my decision?

I can help you make your decision. Don't get Rough Country unless you like a Rough Ride. There's a reason the Skyjacker kit comes with a higher price. It's higher quality. Get the Skyjacker kit.

You know my vote, it's the same as the 73-79 forum, skyjacker!
Like ivan said, skyjacker is just all around better quality.
I wouldn't suggest stacking rear blocks, so either go all out and buy their lifted springs or at least get 3" add a leafs for the rear.

if you are looking for just 4" you could easily build your own lift esp on an older truck. i am NOT condoning this if you aren't proficient with fabbing and dont let your testosterone get the best of you but if you REALLY are good then its a good way to save a lot of cash.

something is fishy here...
Ahem, anyways... I agree. 4" leaves would probably help you with flex though.

both of those kits are going to ride like absolute crap....they dont use long enough springs in the front so the shackle angle is negative....expect a ride about 3 times more harsh than stock with both kits....
