Autozone's scanner won't read the PSD codes even with the ses light on and truck idling rough. Advance Auto Parts scanner will only tell you that there might be codes stored in the IDM. Find someone with a better scanner that will take it a step futher to pull the codes from the IDM. In my case I purchased Auto Enginuity which informed me of an open hi/lo circuit to #5 injector. I purchased a wiring harness, pulled the right valve cover, and replaced the harness. I also cleaned up the contacts in the valve cover pass-thru connector. Now the truck starts and idles better than ever, not bad for 308,000 miles. Auto Enginuity doesn't come cheap with the additional Enhanced Ford package that is required to talk to the PSD but for a do it yourselfer it's a good investment. Sure saved me a lot of work and $$$.
