looks like a power lock. i installed one in my dana 60 but haven't been able to test it yet. i think a good used one should go for about a hundred but not sure exactly ( i think a new one is about 400 or so). you have to take in to consideration that the clutches cost just over a hundred to replace.
That was my first instinct too when I saw it, a powerloc, but I was'nt sure. Its been awhile since I've seen one. Best of all the limited slips by far.
I'm thinking about putting it back in now. It's almost 600$ new. Randy's said 185$ for a 4.56 & up carrier case, they don't sell just the one side. The rebuild kit is 200$, so I'd have 400$ into a 600$ carrier.
Any suggestions where I can get parts cheeper ?
is that just the steel shims and clutches for $200. I paid just over $100 with shipping through napa when i bought mine. but then i don't know how much of a diff there is in a power lock carrier between a dana 60 and a 70.
I called them back, 200$ is for everything inside including the spiders, cross shafts, side gears, etc. So I shouldn't need anything from the old one. I'd like to find someone that would just sell the parts I need, most of my parts are ok.
