HPOP leak?

HPOP leak?
I searched and read everything on the hpop on here and didn't find what I needed. My 02 F-350 has had on oil leak for a couple of weeks now. I Finally found it by feel, I can't see whats leaking tho. When I reach underneath the hpop towards the front of the pump, where its rounded, Its covered with oil there. I'm new to diesels so what I need to know is if anybody had a similar leak and tell me what it is. I'm hoping its an o-ring or something similar cause I can't really afford a new pump right now. I had a leak that sounds very similiar to yours. On your HPOP there will be a plug, that almost looks like a freeze plug held in by a snap ring. That is where I originally thought the oil was coming from, but just above it and your right side (if you are facing the rear of the engine) is a large plug. I believe it is a 18mm. Mine was so loose that I could turn it with my fingers. I put a wrench on it and tightened.... no more leak. I am assuming that this is some sort of drain/fill plug for the HPOP? Might want to check yours.
