Rancho shocks/Hellwig install

Going finally get these in this weekend.
Question I have is once the lower shock bracket is off how do you know where to put it back. They are not welded and will come loose.
Do I do one side at a time? Pictures I have seen show both removed.
Or does it not matter and the placement of the Sway bar will put them where they belong?

They are not welded but there is a nub on the axle tube and the bracket has a female bracket. Male into female and it is good. It is hard to describe but once you have the bracket off, you will see what I mean.

Either or. Make sure you have a couple of the clips to hold the shock bolts ready because mine were rusted and had to be replaced.

Try not to out-think the issue. Grease the side of the shock rubber to make it fit easier into the bracket when installing. I would take the shocks off, take the bracket off and fix the sway bar then put on the shocks. That is what I did
