The track bar mount bracket on the axle has broken twice in 30K miles.
I have a Fab-Tech hanger kit (3.5" front, 2" rear) installed, and 295/75/16 tires on stock rims, plus bilstein gas shocks.
I had the track bar replaced with an adjustable one, but DID NOT (yet) get a relocate bracket for the track bar at the frame, was told by fabtech it was not needed.
I do off-road a LOT, and do hit the front bump-stops occasionally, even with the lift.
I assumed the first time the bracket failed it was welded poorly, as it seemed to come off at the weld.
It was rewelded by a superb welder, and failed again.
Fab-tech was contacted, and the tech told me he has never heard of this happening on a super-duty.
What say you?

Sorry but if that is the picture after the superb welder did the job ! He's not so superb.
No penetraton on the welds look carefully.
We have seen this before! A adjustable trac bar fixes it along with higher bump stops .
This thing will not articulate like you want it to unless a different type suspension setup is used.

My Bad.
That picture was after the FIRST failure, and it shows the WORTHLESS factory ford welds.
I have not taken any new pictures yet.
Bump stop extensions, new "normal" arch springs (the factory ones are reverse arch) and/or a track bar drop bracket are my go-to ideas so far, but looking for input from those in the know...

I've never heard of one breaking either, but I can tell you the ride will improve if you put a dropped track bracket on top. I have the same setup and I put in I think a superlift 4" dropped upper bracket. It greatly reduced bump steer.
Also those welds are pretty bad, must have been friday when they built that axle, or monday morning, depending on which theory you believe.
I think you are on your own on this one..Its always a good idea to lower the bracket as much as you went up to keep the geometry correct but usually guy's don't bother with the drop bracket for a small lift.
I can't imagine fabtech not recommend a drop bracket for thier kit. I recently install a 2.5 inch leveling kit on my truck and it came with a new track bar relocating bracket. I think any amount of lift over 1inch would put a tremendous amount of pressure on all brackets and the track bar itself. Good Luck.
