CPS Part Numbers

Is there a difference between the
International Part # 1825899C93 (black)
International Part # 1825899C92 (blue)

I was told by an IHC parts guy that they were the identical except for the color.

Does any one have any experience in this??

That blue one in the link is the C92... made by International

There is a black one C93, made by International.

My question is: Will the performance be the same when comparing these two CPS's?

THere has been quite a bit of discussion on that very subject. I don't know for certain, but after reading many comments here, it seems that the blue CPS has a definite effect on how the engine runs. Some say their engine runs better with it, others say their engine runs worse with it.

If you have a stock truck, it might be worth a try. I have a chip that was tuned to my particular PCM. As such, I am unwilling to take a chance with something that might change injector timing.
