I have a 68 F250 w/a 390 c6.Have had it running @ 6 months & have
had to replace it twice already.end play is okay but too much side to side.? is whats causing it to wear so quikly ?

If you are talking about bearing failure in the distributor? Oil the wick under the rotor with 10wt oil. Maybe 10 drops.
