correct speedo gear
Hey ya'll...I'm new to this forum. I've got a 78 F100 with a 300 and a C4. I just changed my rear gears from a 2.75 to a 3.50 ratio. I was told that I needed to know how many teeth are on the drive gear of the speedometer in order to get a new speedo gear for it. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how many teeth are on the Drive gear of a C4 tranny. The speedo gear I have now which is stock has 19 teeth. Anyone know how many teeth I need to correct the speedometer? Thanks.

Providing your other gear was correct I would say a 24 tooth.
I think there are calculators on the net for that.
