receiver size

Does anyone have any idea what the receiver size is on the '06 superduty??
Shopping around for hitches and am needing a 8 to 10 inch drop.
Should I get one of the hollow square stock, or custom build one out of solid steel??
Any sugestions would be appreciated.

For the shank, it's going to depend on the weight that you are hauling. If you tow an average sized boat (4-5000#) you don't need a solid shank. If you want one hitch to handle a variety of applications, and weights you can invest a chunk of money and get an aluminum adjustable shank set up with all of the different sized *****, and variable height adjustments.
