i have a '01 supercrew that i dropped 5x7, 3in drop spindles, 2 in springs and its got a 7in flip kit in the back and is c-knotched........so heres my question......
when i punch it and it kicks down there is a really load popping noise that sounds like its coming from the rear, i put it up on a hoist and there are no visual signs of what it can be......
also when i have my wheel tunred all the way and i straighten it out i can hear another loud popping noise..... when i had it on the lift i can see where the spindles were hitting the bump stop in the control arm but it didnt look like its whats making the noise
Just a guess hear but something in the running gear (like the top of diff) is hitting the frame, you are maybe bottoming out the shocks, possible axel windup causing the overload leaf to slap the bottom of the other leaf springs...? Good Luck
