I have a 91 F250 with a 460. Even before all the work done below(I'll get into it more later on in the post), its been having a exhaust leak somewhere. I figured I'd save myself some time, and took it to the exhaust shop to have new header gaskets put in, retighten just to fix the leak. Turns out that wasn't it. They say it's coming from somewhere around the EGR valve. I coated the EGR outlet coming off my header, connecting to the tube in gasket sealent. Still didn't fix it. Any clues where it could be coming from? The Exhaust some wont do emissions work or anything like that.
The other big problem is, ever since after installing the cam, which is a 256H Comp Cam, with new valve springs, lifters, double roller timing chain, it has been having a hard time starting when hot-it will turn over very slowly the first couple rotations than start right up. Today while I was wheeling I tried to start my truck, and it wouldn't turn over at all. All the lights and everything work. I ended up just bypassing my solenoid, but I have recently replaced it within the last 10,000 miles.
