OFF-ROADING pics
lights came in that we'd finally go out at night and do some off-roading.
First we went to that place I showed you guys before in that video
where it was snowy. But this time it was all mud because it was snowing
and raining on and off all day Sat. We got there and we had only made
it about a 1/4 mile down the trail when we heard my front drive shaft
start flopping around. Turns out last time I had it lengthed I must've
not put new lock washers in because all four bolts were gone. We walked
the dark muddy trail to find them but turns out they were right under the
truck. I crawled under there and put them back in and we were off.
We found some new trails that were flooded and rutted up pretty bad
I didn't get any video but here's some pics. We hit one mud bog that
about buried us. it went down but because off all the flooding it looked
even we hit it in 4 lo 3rd gear I opened it up when the nose kept dropping
and the water kept raising. Good times the truck really impressed us
both. There was a rutted up 500 foot stretch of nothing but water and
mud but wheeling by yourself in the dark hitting stuff like that can be
a bad idea sometimes.
The thing that finally ended the night around 12:30 was my damn tire
coming off the rim AGAIN!. Some of you may remember this has
happened to me before it was both front tires last time. I guess I need
a better rim anyone has suggestions? I'm worried everytime I go off-
roading my tire will pop off. I'm on a budget here so cheaper the better.

It's funny you say that it Looks like the original Big Foot Cause
when i was littl I used to tell my friends at school my Dad owned
a truck just like big foot.
As far as the tires and rims go maybe I'll see if I can just buy one bead
lock 16" rim at a time and put some new 36" boggers on them.
My rear tires new come off the rim since they don't turn left to right.
Why don't you run the 38.5" boggers?
I know you have the room, and the price is almost the same as a 35" tire($10 difference), and as far as I know SS doesn't make a 36" bogger, just to say.
It's a 351M with a holley 650, headers, weiland intake man.,
Crane rockers, basic bolt-on junk and rebuilt around 90,000miles. NP435--NP205
D60 axles front and back 4.10 gears.
I don't wanna go to 38" tires because I like the travel i have now
plus it'll be that much harder on my axles. I'll probably get 36"
whatever size bogger I can get on a beadlock rim and call it a day.
