Good Mechanics around?
Hey all.
Looking for a good, trustworthy Diesel Mechanic in the Thousand Oaks, Ventura area. Can anyone recommend one?
From all the posts I have read on these Diesel Bulletin boards regarding terrible Dealers, I am scared to take my truck to one.
Can anyone help me?

I'm about twenty miles up the road from you. I once asked this same question in a couple of diesel-only forums, and a very knowledgable diesel racer, Gene (WeWeld) answered with what basically turned out to be a "No one" answer.
We're in this for ourselves, or at the mercy of some dealer. Yuk!
