Angry Head lights do not come on.

I have 98 Lariat with auto head lights. When I would start the truck the tail lights wouldcome on and everything looks fine but the head lights didn't come on. I would turn the blinker switch on and the lights would come on. This always seemed to work until this morning, but now I'm not able to get the lights to work at all. Any sugestions where to start.

Welcome to FTE!

Have you checked all the fuses? On the top of the dash, there is that long oval piece of trim, you can pop that off. There's a relay and sensor under there, maybe something is loose? Just a guess, but I hope it helps.

It could be the multi-function switch going bad. I had the same problem. My low beams quit working after about a week of playing with the switch to get them on.

It was the multifunction switch. I took it apart last night and one of the contacts were burnt. Got one from Ford last night because I kind of needed it, $105 in the shorts.
