I first installed the BTM on my 2000 ex and hated it. Performance was good, egt's were good but the sound and drone were bad. I added an Aeroturbine 3535L as far forward as I could. Sounds is great, not quiet but it cuts most of the drone and the "flutter" but still lets the turbo sing. I've made so many changes to the beast I can't say how it affected the EGT's. All I know is I have no egt issues... did a 300 mile trip over the weekend cruise set at 75 level ground my egt was right at 575. WOT I have yet to see over 1150 empty. I'd have to say Jody's tunes lowered egt's more than the Aero
It is astounding what proper tuning will do. Compared to an Edge tuner, my EGTs are much lower, smoke is now a haze instead of billowing (on the upper settings - don't notice any smoke on the 40hp tow), and power is WAAAAAY up!
