New inner fenderwell's, ideas? and fenderwell headers
Well last night i had to remove the old canvass inner fenderwell's to do some frame work on my truck and when i removed them i realized that they weren't gettin the job done like i orginally hoped they do, and as such i'm hoping some of you guys in here will be able to give me a few extra ideas, one i had was to just run a piece of canvas from the frame straight up to the hood, but i haven't had to much time to think about it, heres a picture of what it looks like:

Ignore the ugly red paint up front, it was all i had for rust protection at the time .
Next thing is about fenderwell exit headers for late 70's ford 4wd's with the 351M and 400 (a 460 would be fairly close to), all i need is a few measurements so i can determine if it'll be worth my time to grab a set of evilbay and make em' fit in my truck. All i need for measurements is the height and width from the frame that the top front corner of the exhaust port is on each side, and also the top back corner of the back (closest to the cab) exhaust port on each side is, any help would great on this.

IT all depends on the amount of time, tools, and skill. Im considering buying a set of big metal trailer fenders from a store that sells trailer parts. They sell them in alot of types of sizes. Im just going to weld them to the inside of my fenders and a piece of sheet metal going down almost to the frame. Then a small strip of canvis of rubber from the fender to the frame. I also considered making fiberglass ones, but decided not to becasue of time.

Yeah i'd love to use sheet metal, but it'll depend on how much spare time i'll have to spend on it, cause if time is of the essence it'll be canvase again. But if i were to sheet metal i think that i'd use a sort of snap conector (they're used on our farm equipment for servicing interal components) so i can remove the sheet metal quickly.
