SRW or DRW

In the next year or so, I am thinking about replacing the frame on my truck. It has seen better days. At the same time I am going to reinforce the new frame. While I am changing the frame, I am debating about changing the truck into a dually. I can get an 86 cab and chasis frame, axles and springs. If I make it a dually I am not sure if I will put a box back on the truck or a flat bed. I want to run at least 35-37" tires. The truck is used to pull my trailer, plow snow, and off-road lightly. The truck is currently a 1984 F-350 4x4 60, 10.25, 460, 4spd, 4:10. Thanks for your opinions,

I think a srw does much better in snow or mud-the duals dont have enough contact pressure with the ground. If you go with duals you will limited on tire choices as you can't run a very wide tire.
