I hope someone stuffs him into the lockbox he always talked about. How many of you believe that he invented the internet like he said he did? We do not need a liar running our country.
I think Al Gore running in 2004 would have wound up looking like Adlai Stevenson in 1956- same-old, same-old running against a VERY popular Republican incumbent. He's lost before he even started to run. As for 2000, I still don't think we had any real choice between the two. Bush or Gore- you had to pick the lesser of two evils, and I still don't know what Bush's qualifications were for the job, except that his father was once president. That's a qualification? As for Gore- who the hell knows. I think that was his biggest problem- nobody really knew where he stood on anything. That's scarier than a candidate that's totally against your own way of thinking- at least you know where they're coming from.
im not much for speaking politics but im glad he dropped out, he just doesnt seem honest or as if he really gives a crap about the hard working people of this country. it just seemed like everytime he flapped his lips that nothing true seemed to come out of them.
Christ, I think that Ford is synonomous with Conservative. I don't think I am going to open my mouth here. I am conservative when it comes to money and business, but far more liberal when it comes to personal freedoms.
Actually, both the Democrats and the Republicans have terrible records when it comes to personal freedoms and liberties - which is why I normally vote Libertarian.
However, I think we're wandering off-topic.
As far as Gore goes, I'm glad he's not running - and I'm wondering what kind of "new blood" the Democrats have to run in '04, though I don't really think they have much of a chance.
BTW (in reference to an earlier post), Gore never really said he invented the internet - you can read more about it at:

I may not like the man, but it still bugs me when the press takes things out of context and uses them to damage someone's character. Not that the press hasn't done it a billion times to just about every major political and public figure, and won't continue to do it...
Too bad he isn't going to run again.
We would have been able to witness him losing the election by a substantial margin.
Of course that's why he's not going to run again.
