I duno if this is a well known tip of not. But i just picked it up today, if you're going mudding, spray some armor all under the truck, that way when you go to wash it off it will just slide off and wont cake on as hard.

Yep! we used to use stuff like nonstick sprays for cooking pans on the underside of the fenders on my cr125r's back in the day when i raced. works well because the mud has nothing to bond to.
