Engine Pulling Bolts

What size of bolts should I use when I yank my engine? According to Steve Christ I should use a couple of bolts on the end of the heads. What size are those holes? Do others ust those, or just use a couple of the manifold bots?

Thanks. I was wandering through O'Reillys and saw one of those carb plates. At $10 I decided to try it out. I should be pulling the engine next weekend after I get my cab off.

Myself I use the intake bolts, the ones on each side of the carb, with the carb off.

John,
If you use the carb plate pulling method, be sure you do not use your carb mounting bolt. Pull them out and replace them with grade 8 bolts.
