Question Where do you get service?

I have searched the threads and have not come up with an answer to this. So I will start a new thread.
Where do you get your PSD serviced? i.e oil change, fuel filters, lube and grease?
Now i know that there is no 1 place to go as it is a personal opinion. What works for one person, may not work for another. I just want to get some opinions to help make my choice.
Thank you in advance for your thoughts on this matter.

i have not let anyone else touch my truck so far. everything such as the smallest service to the most in-depth mod i have done my self. do you not have the time or ability to do it yourself? i bought this truck as a 15 year old that knew nothing about it. stay here for a while and you'll learn ALOT about it. youll pick up some handy tips, and the best ways to do certain things. what exactly do you need?

most of the people on this site do their own work. if you have a question on anything ask it on here and someone will be able to help you out and save you a lot of money by doing it yourself. im the same as kris. i bought this truck when i was 17 and knew absolutely nothing about diesels except that i wanted one. the people on this site are very helpful

I am an over the road truck driver, As for abillity, most definitly have, as for the time, no. That is at a premium. Getting one day off a week to get a miriad of chores accomplished. That is why I have posed this question as to make an intelligant decision as to outsourcing this task to have time with the family. Something my wife could do while i was on the road and it would be ready to drive when i got home.
As for those that have the time and equipment to do all thier own work at thier liesure, Kudo's! Maybe one day i will again have time for projects and mods.
Thank you for your responses.

If you talk real sweet to your wife maybe you can get her to join the forum, learn a few things and start wrenching on easy stuff for you so when you get home you can have more time for each other.
Just a thought.

i drive my truck into my driveway or garage and service it myself. most places are a rip off to pay for a service on our trucks. not to mention they dont get it right. plus i like to work on my own stuff.

Any quickie oil change place "can" do it. Also most anyplace you trust to work on your Big Truck can work on a PowerStroke. Lots of these engines in medium sized trucks & tow trucks.

Most Wal-Mart stores can handle the task and it's usually under $50. Make sure you ask that the oil filter is wrench-tightened one turn. I've used them all across the country; when I use one for the first time, I crawl under & check for work done correctly.

Agree, baptising stray cat would be hard

Don't know any shops to recommend, I do know that most charge a premium on the 7.3 because of the amount of oil used for engine oil change. BS if you ask me. I personally would look for a local shop that does repair work as well, I don't really trust the lube shops at all. To eager to open up everything.
