Fuel tank interchange
The rear tank on my 96 4x4 may be leaking. I've smelled fumes since I've owned it but my MPG has been ok and there are no puddles or stains on or near the tank. I have a brand new tank on the front. I have a 90 2wd truck for parts, it has a rear tank only and it's also a 5.0, will this fit my 96? It looks like it's in good shape so I'd like to save some dough if it will fit.

You should have no problem. I have a front and rear tank off a 76 on my 96 F150. The rear tank I had to use my 96 neck. I added the front tank to the 96 for more fuel capacity. A few mods and all is well. The rear was simple. Good luck!
