My Crown Vic was already wired, sensors and all, for cruise. All I had to do to add it was change the steering wheel and install the srevo and cable. I do not know if the trucks are pre-wired or not.
Thanks for the input guys, do you believe it will help at all in gas mileage? I have heard many stories that cruise does help. I just moved and now drive 96 miles round trip to work. I really like this I-6 motor but the mpg are needing help. I have installed a flowmaster system, eliminated the rear cat, K & N filter and an electric fan kit. I can avg. 15-17 mpg on the highway @ 65 mph. Any faster and the fuel gauge moves as fast as the tach. Open to any suggestions.
Well, Autozone no longer has the kit available. However, I did find a AudoVox kit (#CCS-100) on the net from summit racing for 90 bucks. Says it will be here Monday afternoon. Thanks for the input!
