Hi, I use a 2 X 4 about 3 feet long between the duals first on the front side then on the back. Had to do this a couple times then they came loose. Once I got them off I took a rotary file in a drill and took a little out of the center of the aluminum wheels. I didn't have any problem getting the steel wheels off.
Does seem like a waste too. Those trucks seem to eat tires pretty good no matter what you do to help. Fronts especially get worn. I guess its the weight up front with diesel and such that makes wear faster.??

Find yourself the biggest sledge hammer you can, remove any under aged people within hearing distance, a good pair of gloves, gogles, and have the EMS on standby.
The objective is to use the blunt force of a sledge hammer on the back side of the wheel.
Anything you have to knock the crap out of them with may work. Even if you have to kick them, if you don't have anything handy. A little "persuasion" is what is needed....
