Petro Canada

Anyone ever heard of this oil? I have never heard much about Petro Canda oil. Our company just switched over the whole fleet to it including everything from heavy equipment to light trucks. It is supposed to be better and cost the same. We previously used Delvac mostly and some Rotella. We are moving the trucks & equipment from 300 to 400 hours and light trucks from 3000 miles to 5000 miles with this oil, using UOA of course as assurance the new program is working.

I remember when they used to sell gasoline. I haven't seen a PetroCanada gas station in quite some time.

I can't speak for Petro Canada oil lately but in the past they had high standards for their products. I use their gas with good results and I would not hesitate to use their oil. I use Ford oil which is competive in price and it was said that Petro Canada had the contract to supply Ford oil a few years ago, to their specs. of course.

Petro-Canada is very common in Western Canada. I use their lubes and fuels in my mixed fuel fleet of 10 trucks powered by diesel, and gasoline, but buy my propane elsewhere as they don't market it here. We have had excellent results with their oils and fuels.

Really? There are at least 2 of their gas stations in my city. And I only live about 3 hours away. Weird...

I guess I was thinking they were another brand. I don't stop there or pay attention to them.
