4x4 question and engine noise
I was hauling a small load of bricks yesterday in my 06 stx when I had to drop it into 4hi to get traction. As I was driving up the hill, which is pretty steep and concrete, I heard a loud clunk from underneath the truck that didnt sound normal. Could it be bad to use 4hi on steep inclines while having a load in the bed??? So far nothings screwed up with it now, its working fine, but after that I turned the truck off and am hearing a noise that sounds like the belts. I kept checking it and it doesnt sound like its coming from the belts at all, sounds like its air pressure being let out of something but only does it when I cut the ingnition off. Its never made this noise before so Im wondering if their could be a connection between the two things.
