Check Engine Help with Codes
I have been having a little trouble with my 88 F150 I6. It is cutting out when you let of of the gas and the check engine light is coming on while it is cutting out. I have been having a oil cunsumption problem and then this. I ran the codes on it last night and came up with 67,67,1,63,29,63,29 I know one of them is the speedo because it is broken but what do the others mean. Something about a mlr and the tp in my haynes manual. Can you guys help me out.

Ok maybe I have been reading them wrong. I'll just list what I got. I'm going to use p for pause.
Switch On, rapid blinks, 6 p 7 p 6 p 7 p 1 p 6 p 3 p 2 p 9 p 6 p 3 p 2 p 9 over
Checked it three times. I have been reading about how it does a # of blinks for the amount of cylinders so maybe ya'll can decipher it.

Code 67 KOEO -> This is usually a setup problem and doesn't indicate anything to fix. For example, you left the A/C or defroster on when you collected codes. Or the trans is not in park (auto) or neutral (manual). There
Code 63 in Continuous memory -> TP circuit below minimum voltage. This code plus your symptoms suggest a throttle position sensor problem. Either the TPS is not set correctly or (more likely) it has a "dead spot" somewhere in the travel. Try clearing codes, driving the vehicle around, and see how quickly the code comes back. If the vehicle cuts out, but the code does not recur, then there may be another problem yet. Or you can troubleshoot the TPS with an ohmmeter. Or you can just replace it.
Code 29 in continuous memory -> VSS sensor does not work. But you already know this, as your speedo is dead.
