My name is Jim Shaw. I live in Visalia, about 45 miles South of Fresno. I was a Stock Broker from 1990 to 2003 and now I own my own Investment Advisory company, Shaw & Company Retirement Plan Services. Before that I was a Journeyman Electrician and Certified Welder.
I've owned several Fords: '67 Bronco, '78 F-150 4X4, and my current '77 F-250 4X2. A couple weeks ago I bought a '75 F-350 Super Camper Special...not sure what I'll do with it yet.
For fun I work on my truck. There's pictures in my gallery.
Let me be among the first to welcome you Jim. Glad to have ya!
side note:
Erm... your web site looks like it is a work in progress. You need to have an "HREF" statement for the California residents to direct them to the appropriate URL.

I think I am a member but not sure. I live in sparks,nv and I work for a well drilling company. I have been doing that for four years now and like every minute of it. I currently own a 2000 excursion V-10.
WillyB could confirm if you are a member, but you can do this yourself. Click on "User CP" and the click on "Chapter Memberships". If you can select "Join Chapter", you are not yet a chapter member.
CLICK ON THE LINK... JOIN CHAPTER

Or simply click on your own name on any one of your posts and select "View Public Profile". Chapter memberships are listed in the lower right quadrant, and anybody can check anyone else's chapter memberships the same way.

I'm not sure what you mean. My web site is complete and has been up and running for two years.

Jim, your website looks good to me - I use FrontPage myself, and have no idea what a "Href statement" is. I clicked both Cal and non-Cal links, both worked.
Perhaps the old dog will come back and tell us what we missed!
My name is John. I am also a new member. I have owned Fords all my life. My claims to fame are my 55 Fairlane and my 54 F100. I also had a 68 F100 but sold it late last year. I live in Antelope which is 14 miles NE of Sacramento. I am also a member of the Crown Victoria Association. I am 47 years old, married and have two sons 21 & 23. I am very active in local cruises and swap meets. I hope to meet some of you as our paths cross at these events. Jag
PS: I am shopping for a 55-57 Ford (finished) for the wife. Please let me know if you come across one.

I live in the second hilliest city in the world.
Great for clutchs and brakes.
I used to live in Mojave, Ca. back in '73. That was fun.
I didn't realize I was a chapter member.
I was waiting for confirmation, like a PM, or a tee shirt with the chapter logo,
or a gift certicate to IHOP, or tickets to a major sporting event. (kidding)
