Too much oil

Does anyone have any idea what happens if you run a new Powerstroke with 2 or 3 extra quarts of oil??? Mine got overfilled and I am wondering if it is worth draining the few quarts out or not. Thanks...

Yes you need to drain it. To much oil will start to foam from being stirred up by the crankshaft. Foaming oil will not properly fire the fuel injectors. Truck will run like s###.

Could driving for the past week that way have caused any permanent damage? I haven't noticed it running any differently.
