Well, consider it an early April Fools Day joke... I'm buying a new John Deere 3520 tractor.
If they still made them, the tractor would run on gasoline too! But I'm stuck with the diesel.
To those who are really buying a new PSD, I wish y'all good luck. IF you are buying used, be sure to ask for an OASIS report before you buy!

You guys are are good for a laugh,, ,, anyway back to the subject,,,going on 3 months since I traded my 04' V-10 for the 06' PSD, got almost 4k on it already, and no regrets, yes there is a bit of turbo lag now and then,,,but man,,,when she's-a-blowin,,she's-a-goin,,, 
.
I had to go get a gas tank for my sons Bronco the other day, down a different highway then what I am usually on,, got some nice hills,,on the way home going uphill,,about 75 mph, in fast lane,,I needed to get past these few cars, so I just poured on the fuel,,,,,man it's cool to just watch that boost gauge, jump right up to about 28 psi,,never even come out of overdrive, and set you right back in the seat,,,as the speedo reach's 85 plus,,uphill .
Not that the V-10 would'nt do this,,but its just a different kind of power.
Anyway just stopping in to the V-10 page now and then to see whats happening, the 04' V-10 powered F-350 I had was a great truck, put 27 k miles on it,,no problems, this 06' F-350 has been good so far,,been cold here no problems so far,, well the windshield did crack, Ford replaced it,,
It's the SuperDuty brothren we all have in common,,,

m350 i continue to wish you the best of luck with your ride. i personaly have seen a lot of good ones and a lot of bad ones. drive that bad boy dead pan stock and i'd lay a fishing trip on it never giving you a problem.

. Well good luck with the diesel...hope it treats you well! Actually, I do not blame you one bit going with the competition when choosing a diesel. The 6.0L is flawed in design...and the "NEW" 6.4L is not available yet.Cheers!

It seems to me that the duramax is having better success than the 6.0 in defects failers .It looks to me like chevy put all there money into mechanicals and not in the trucks looks.
The chevy trucks just don't have the look that I like.It has more of a girly/man look if ya know what I mean.No punt intended but Ford superduty's have that look that the girls are looking for in a man!
