Bed Extender

Can a bed extender be bought for an 05 FX4 SCAB 6.5 ft bed ? If so how much ? I had one of these on my last truck (2000 Nissan Crew) and it was very useful to keep trash bags at the back of the truck with the tailgate closed. So they would'nt blow around. I miss it.

Bed extender

I have an 06 Super Crew and am looking at a bed extender. My dealer told me this body style started in 04 and any extender prior to that would not fit. I am seeing 01-03 extenders on E BAY for cheap! What is the skinny on what the dealer told me...will an 02 extender not fit an 06?
Thanks!

Those 03 and down bed extenders are too narrow for your 04 and up truck.

And unfortunately, I haven't seen anyone that makes a bed extender for the Flaresides... Stylesides only. Westin doesn't and Ford doesn't offer one that I have found.

Thanks for the help, guys. I guess I'll just have to wait for an 04-06 to come along. Best I've seen so far has been a Westin, new, for $200 frt allowed. The dealers get close to $350+ for an OEM.

Flareside extenders can be found here:

I just happen upon the site the other day looking for one for mine.
