One place I noticed today was at $.919. The Sutherland Mohawk was at $.889 last week, they`re usually the cheapest in town along with the Super Store and Extra Foods gas bars.
As for regular diesel there is only one grade of diesel that I know of besides winter and summer grades. Is there more?
We (well, my dad, he's the one with diesels) makes it, only runs it in the summer though. He gets his oil from the Komfort Kitchen in Brandon, its kitty corner to his office, and a bunch in Deloraine. I'm not sure how much he has stockpiled, but it'll last a long time since he gets 30-40mpg out of his Rangers.
Diesel rangers! Man, there's not many of those around. THe guys I've heard of that have them will NEVER let go either. I'd love one of those. If Ford came out with a small diesel, that wuld be great. Only problem is, I'd have to wait 10 years before I could afford to buy one......
Ford misses the boat on some of their trucks. They still have the Ranchero/ Falcon trucks in Austrlia. They make a small 4cyl deisel truck unibody in Africa.
You can see these trucks if you do a search of Ford trucks and list the country.
They say these trucks do not meet the emissions standards here. How hard would it be to make them meet the standards. I really like the Rancheros they have in Australia.
He's got 2 of them right now, ones a 4x4 he just got out of Montana, and the other is a little dually. I have it in Brandon right now, maybe you've seen it. Dad takes it to the Rosser cruise night sometimes too, but only if he can find someone to drive it (he takes his Econoline) He used to have another 4x4, but sold it about 5 years ago. The body was starting to show signs of its age.
Thats wierd that Ford wouldn't want to make these vehicles pass emissions tests here. GM did with the GTO (its an Australian car made by Holden, if you didn't know), and I'd say Ford would be able to sell these cars to a larger market than that of the GTO.
