It's not hard but there are a few tricks to it. First, forget that you have a screwdriver, leave it at home! Take a bottle of soapy water and spray it on the inside of the cab so that it will run down under the rubber. Start pushing the window as you bend the rubber down so that it will slip over the pinchweld. I usually start in a top corner and then work along the top, pushing it out as you go along. Don't put too much pressure on it, or you can bend the frame. when you get both sides and the top pushed out, just lift it straight up and it is out. To go back, put a small rope (approx. 3/16 in.) in the pinchweld slot. Put the window on the pinchweld, starting on one lower corner, and set it on the pinchweld. Start pulling the rope and working the rubber over the pinchweld as you go. Use lots of soapy water and it will go in easier. Good luck
If the gasket is dry rotted which it probably is, take a razor knife with a new blade and cut about 1/4 to 1/2" in from outer edge of gasket on the inside then it will just pop out alot easier. You can get a new gasket at motorhaven.autoanything.com. $50.00 with or without the groove for the chrome.

Ken you forgot two items. Dust Pan and Hand Broom.
Take these and collect all the pieces. Asemble them together on a workbench. Hope you like Puzzles! Spread a generous prtion of clear silicone over the whole thing. When it dries Voila! You'll have your window!! LMAO

motorhaven.autoanything.com list two seals
The first is for the chrome and says only with stationary window
The second says no chrome and for sliding window

thanks for the info......I took some soapy water and tried to push it out.....but it wasn't happening.....So I gave up and cut the seal figuring that I'd be able to understand the process better once I got a look at the seal with the window out.... Maybe I'll be able to get the glass out of my truck with out cutting the seal....
