1989 Bronco 2 (2.9 cyc) manual 5speed 2wd.There 8 freeze plug an two maybe three need to be changed,Are they correct saying engine has to come out to change them,an since it is out good time to change all 8 plugs.Also the shop price is $450.00 does this sound reasonable,thanks for any input.

I personally have never done it but, 450 for freeze plugs, thats all labor cost. If you have the time and tools might lookinto replacing them yourself. I know i bought a refabbed block for about that price, and your just getting new freeze plugs... just a thought.
