I've taken a brief look around for a fuel injection system for an FE motor (360) but haven't had a lot of luck. I imagine that it would be pretty expensive, but does anybody have any experience with this? A TBI system would be simple and ideal for my setup.
I've seen some Holley TBI systems. You will be looking at $1000-$1500, depending on the HP you expect to make. It would be nice to have the increased control, but the expense over a carburetor is substantial.
Thanks for the input. That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping for a simple, inexpensive system, but I guess that doesn't really go with EFI. Carbs it is.
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Jan-03 AT 06:04 PM (EST)]I believe the smallest Holley kit is for engines under 275 HP. If you have a modded engine, you may be restricting your power by using the smaller system.
They have higher flowing systems, but they appear to sold seperately and would cost substantially more. I still like the idea, but a brand new carb for around $220 is awful tempting.

Heck if you think that is expensive you need to look into a full on multiport injection setup. Most of those start at around $2500 JUST FOR HARD WARE. Thats right the Brain is mor eon top of that. I really really wanted to go EFI. Was going to do the Holley TBI route but was talked out of it. Can make more HP with a carb.
